We arrived with just over half an hour before the end of food orders and were told service may be slow as they were short staffed. It wasn't at all and the welcome was warm and food delicious, a lovely local pub that we'd love to go back to. Thank you!

We returned to the The Coach & Horses last night & took our friends for the first time. We all enjoyed a fabulous meal (steak was cooked to perfection ). Cannot fault this place. We were staying a few miles away at Stonewold and we visited on a Saturday evening and was not disappointed. The food and service were outstanding and they offered a good range of gluten free options. Highly recommended

We ordered food to takeaway, and it was incredible! Generous portions, and the Buckland burgers were amazing. Will definitely come back for a pint when we come back for another holiday.
Saturday lunchtime food was very good. Kids ham, egg and chips definitely big enough for a light meal. Pie was very meaty and tasty.
